    First public release of PnyxCMS: a small, fast, modular PHP CMS.

    Highlights

    • Small core: 10 PHP files, 23 KiB, under 800 lines.
    • Flat-file pages render in a few milliseconds with 2 MB peak RAM.
    • Modular architecture: enable components in manifest.php, brought up in three runlevels (S, T, E).
    • Markdown content, no database required for flat-file sites.
    • Privacy-friendly: no trackers, no cookies by default, honours Do Not Track.

    Bundled components

    • library/dependency-resolver, library/date, library/text-processor (with a fast Markdown processor)
    • payload/do-not-track, payload/page-tags
    • signal/error-codes
    • module/main, module/posts, module/simple-pages
    • snippet/pagination
    • pnyx template: pure CSS and HTML, no web fonts or CDN.

    Requirements

    PHP 8.1+ and Apache 2.4 with mod_rewrite and AllowOverride. See the self-hosting guide.

    Licence

    EUPL 1.2; module/main is MIT, so it can serve as a base for modules under any licence.
